Standard Shipping Policies
Shipping Guarantees Please remember that the shipping method you select is not necessary the amount of time your basket will arrive. The day you place your order is NOT counted as a shipping day. The number is days in transit begins the day AFTER we ship and does not include weekends or holidays. If you place your order at 3pm on Wednesday for 2nd Day, it will most likely ship on Thursday and be delivered on Monday (the first day in transit in Friday, the second day is Monday). We extend the same shipping guarantees offered by the carriers. During the second and third week of December, it is not uncommon for the carriers to suspend time-in-transit guarantees. We strongly encourage you to place your order early and allow an extra day for delivery if possible. We cannot honor claims for late delivery which are not backed by the carrier. Claims & ReturnsAll damage claims, discrepancies and late delivery claims must be made within 3 business days of the gift being received. There will be No exceptions to this policy. If a gift arrives damaged or there is a discrepancy we will make every effort to resolve the issue in a timely manner and to your satisfaction. Credits and or refunds will be at our sole discretion and will only be issued if damaged gifts or discrepancies can be verified by the carrier. If the gift is disposed of before we can verify the damages/discrepancy we will not issue any refund. All claims must be issued in writing by fax or e-mail. Claims will not be accepted via the phone. In the event a carrier returns a gift due to being refused, a bad address being supplied or non availability of a recipient all shipping charges assessed by the carrier will be added to the customers bill and customer will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges usually consist of shipping to the recipient, shipping back to Gift Basket Kreations and any address correction fees. Hours of OperationMonday

same day. Air orders placed after 2:00 PM CST ship the next business day.
All ground orders are guaranteed to ship within one business day.
Fruit: Please remember all fruit gifts have shipping restrictions. (All fruit orders placed on Friday via "standard" ground will be shipped on Monday.) Chocolate: Beginning May 15th all chocolate gifts will only be available for shipping via Next Day air. There will be a $5.00 surcharge added to each order for ice and heat sensitive packaging. No damage claims will be paid for packages left outside by UPS. UPS does not guarantee perishable goods. In addition any gift baskets which contain chocolate components will have the chocolate substituted out and replaced with hard candy items.
